Tuesday, April 8, 7-8pm
Creatine, whey protein, multivitamins… the number of supplements out there can be mind-boggling. Learn all about dietary supplements and get accurate information on what’s available, potential dangers, and what to look for when shopping for a supplement.
YOGA FOR RUNNERS
Wednesday, April 9, 7-8pm
This workshop is designed to help runners develop greater flexibility, fitness and mental focus. The sequence of yoga poses you will learn includes key poses for areas of the body that are most overused or prone to injury for runners. It can be used post-run as a thorough stretch and cool down or on its own as important cross-training, injury prevention or to simply unwind after a busy day.
TAI CHI TO GO
Wednesday, April 30, 7-8pm
This “to-go” method of tai chi is easy to learn, perfect for beginners and easy to take on the road. In this class you will perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner that, when combined together, form a short “dance.” The slow circular movements, blended with deep breathing, help to decrease stress, increase range of motion, improve flexibility and balance and cultivate a sense of well-being.
