BARRE

Barre is a total body sculpting workout based on ballet barre exercises.  This class is designed to balance, strengthen and tone the entire body.  Each class will include several highly effective sequences of toning and resistance exercises, with an emphasis on the core, arms, hips and thighs. Through the use of the ballet barre, light weights and various props, students will begin with small movements and progress to larger, more complex movements, as the instructor emphasizes form, alignment and specific muscle actions. This technique protects your joints as it does not involve any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to develop long, lean muscles without bulk. This class is open to 12 participants.
