Whether you are an avid cyclist or just beginning, this class will provide you with a high-intensity cardiovascular workout. Ride around the world in all types of terrain, while testing your determination, focus, and physical fitness. Basic bike set-up and position will be reviewed for all participants. Heart rate is the window into how the body is responding to the stress of each effort, each ride, and our overall training and adaptation. Learn the science behind cardiovascular training and how to make your indoor cycling class more meaningful and beneficial. Heart Cycling incorporates biofeedback from heart rate monitors to work in and benefit from heart zones, customized for each participant using results from a threshold test, conducted in class with your instructor. In addition to heart rate zones, your instructor will use threshold percentages and rate of perceived exertion (RPE) when coaching this class. This class is open to 28 participants.

This all-level adult ballet class is designed to instill participants with greater awareness of their bodies, an understanding of basic alignment, and knowledge of the art of dance and structured choreography. The class emphasizes the idea of ballet as a practice, as opposed to a performance. The class will begin with a simple barre warm up, followed by center work, and ends with flexibility exercises. Attire should be comfortable and form fitting so the instructor can see the lines of the body. Ballet shoes are suggested. This class is open to 35 participants.

KICKBOXING LEVEL I
Kickboxing Level I is an introductory martial arts course that centers on mastering authentic kickboxing techniques and improving fitness. This full-body workout challenges all major muscle groups while improving aerobic capacity, muscular strength, balance, decreasing stress, improving focus and boosting confidence. Throughout the course, you will learn basic hand wrapping techniques, proper stance and footwork, the classic jab, cross, hook and uppercut punches, kicks and blocks with the elbow and knee. Students will also learn traditional drills and combinations to effectively strike pads in offensive and defensive situations and ultimately create punch and kick combinations independently. Fitness tests will be conducted at the beginning and end of the course, allowing you to see progress in your kickboxing and fitness abilities. Boxing gloves, punching mitts and Muay Thai pads are used regularly in class. Equipment is provided. This class is open to 20 participants.

Based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, this class is designed to isolate and strengthen your core through integrated, efficient and graceful movement. This traditional mat class will develop long, lean muscles while increasing strength, flexibility, balance and postural improvements. POWER YOGA LEVEL I
Power Yoga is an energetic style of yoga includes specific sequences designed to build strength and stamina while disciplining the mind. Classes focus on body weight bearing exercises, core strength and balance. This class has its roots in Iyengar and Ashtanga so it not only focuses on your alignment, but also the fluidity from one pose to the next. This level one course is designed for those new to the practice of Power Yoga as well as the seasoned practitioner. The basics and fundamentals of Power Yoga poses are introduced. Learn the process of proper alignment in the poses, breathing techniques, the use of props in your practice and build confidence in your yoga postures. This class is open to 35 participants.

Yin is a form of yoga focused on stretching deep connective tissues- ligaments, joints, cartilage and fascia. In order to stretch connective tissues, the overlaying muscles must be relaxed. Through this quiet practice, participants will learn how to clear and calm their mind while remaining still in each pose for 3-5 minutes. Unlike other forms of yoga, each pose will be unique to the individual and achieved with their own appropriate depth. Learn how to meditate, rebalance and heal your body through this gentle practice. No prior experience with yoga is required. This class is open to 35 participants.

YOGA FLOW LEVEL I
Yoga Flow, also referred to as Vinyasa Yoga or just Flow, is a practice of yoga in which movement is synchronized to the breath. Yoga Flow movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like as poses flow from one into the next. This form of yoga produces an internal heat that will challenge aerobic endurance, increase flexibility, and build overall strength. This class presents an opportunity to cultivate emotional and physical bonds with your child. Family Yoga includes postures for the parent and child alike; including age and intensity level variations to accommodate all participants and make sure everyone has fun.
