Interests and Hobbies: Playing and arranging music (I play piano, percussion, trombone, and bassoon), working in church music ministry, Purdue sports of all kinds, Saints football, movies, and time with family.

Philosophy on Fitness and Wellness: Fitness should be a time for fun and fellowship, enabling you to care for your body and mind, and maximize its potential for a lifetime of activity.

Major/Degree: My background is in medical and animal sciences. I was a vet tech and zoo keeper for many years.  Currently, I am working as a Weight Watcher leader helping members lose weight and become active = get healthy.

Interests and Hobbies: Yoga! Having a personal daily yoga practice is my sanity. I love my dogs. I bicycle as much as possible. Fire hooping, acro yoga, hiking, and good food make me smile.

I believe living a fit and healthy lifestyle is important and attainable for everyone.  There are so many ways to stay active and fit that there is something out there for everyone.  It's just a matter of finding the right modality for you and then making a conscious decision one breath at a time to remain active and make healthy choices.
