Club Sports Council

The Club Sports Council (CSC) is composed of seven elected Club Sports athletes who act as representatives for the Club teams. Main objectives for the council include granting Excellence & Development Funding, providing recommendations for discipline incidents and club affiliation requests, voicing concerns from Club teams, and guiding new initiatives and/or organizational changes with the Club Sports Administration. Each person on the council volunteers their time for this elected position.

Excellence & Development Funding Committee

The Special Events Committee is accepting nominations for End of Year Club Sport Awards. Follow the appropriate link to submit a nomination.  Deadline to nominate is 5:00 PM on April 6, 2012.

Members of this committee are responsible for announcing excellence & development funding request deadlines and awards to all clubs.  They also collect funding request proposals and schedule meeting times for clubs to present to the council.

Special Events Committee

Members of this committee are responsible for planning and implementing club wide events including fundraising, service, or social events.  They will also be planning the end of year awards banquet in addition to facilitating the nomination and selection process for club sport awards.

Members of this committee are responsible for communicating and addressing concerns related to clubs, especially regarding the construction project and transition schedule.  They also coordinate requests for club sports affiliation and changes to club classification status in addition to coordinating elections for new council members.
