Guest Passes & Policies

Daily Admission and short term pass holders:

If you are a member of the Purdue community (have a valid PUID) and do not have a membership, you may gain admission by paying any of these short term pass fees. Paying one of those fees provides access to the facilities, court reservations, equipment checkout, and towel service (Applicable fees will apply).  Those having a valid PUID may sponsor in guests at any time (see guest admission policies below).

GUEST ADMISSION

If you are not a Purdue Affiliate (do not have a valid PUID), you may be sponsored in by a Purdue Affiliate by purchasing one of these short term passes

  • All guests must show a picture ID and sign the guest waiver form provided at Member Services.
  • Members accept full responsibility for the behavior of all guests and must remain in the facility with guests at all times.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Children 5 and under do not have to purchase a guest pass.
  • Guests do not have access to equipment check out, court reservations, or towel service.  The sponsor may provide these services to the guest by using their identification and taking responsibility for the items.
  • Guests may not sponsor other guests into the facility.

IVY TECH STUDENTS

  • If you are an Ivy Tech Student, you may show your Ivy Tech Student ID to gain access to the Recreational Sports Center by paying the daily admission fee of $7 
  • Ivy Tech students are not permitted to check out equipment, make court reservations or have access to towel service.
  • Ivy Tech Students may not purchase a membership or any of the other short term guest fees unless sponsored by a Purdue affiliate.
  • Ivy Tech Students may not sponsor guests into the facility.

ALUMNI

If you are alumni, you must show proof of graduation from Purdue University and have a picture ID.  You may purchase a Membership or short term pass

  • Alumni having a valid PUID or those that purchase a membership may have access to equipment checkout, court reservations, and towel service.
  • Alumni may sponsor in guests (see guest policies above)

NON-AFFILIATED GUEST PASSES

If you are not affiliated with Purdue University and you do not have a sponsor, you may purchase a day pass for $10.

  • All guests must show a picture ID and sign the guest waiver form provided at Member Services.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are allowed in Friday open through Sunday close, University breaks, local school breaks (open until 3pm), and throughout the summer.  Children 5 and under do not have to purchase a guest pass.
  • Guests do not have access to equipment check out, court reservations, or towel service. 
  • Guests may only sponsor their own children/legal dependents into the facility
  • All guests 16 and over must show proof of age.

CONFEREES

Individuals attending a conference affiliated with Purdue may gain admission by presenting a name badge/ID from the conference and paying one of these short term pass fees.  Paying the fee allows the conferee to have access to facilities.  Conferees do not have access to equipment checkout, court reservations or towel service.  If minors are part of the conference, please see minor policies.
