Mandatory Health Insurance Requirements for International Students
Fall Deadline September 8
Spring Deadline January 31

  • You (and your family should they travel with you) are required to carry health insurance while you are a student at Purdue University.
  • All international students are required to purchase the Purdue University Student Health Insurance plan as a condition of their enrollment.
  • Individual and private insurance plans purchased by student DO NOT qualify for a waiver.
  • Very limited waivers may be granted to international students who satisfy one of the criteria listed on the waiver form.
