Co-Payments
Your Student Resources Health Insurance plan states that you are responsible for a $15 co-pay when you have charges that are incurred at PUSH and billed to insurance.
A co-pay is simply a fixed dollar amount that insurance determines you must pay each day that you have a charge at the Student Health Center. If you were to be seen in two areas of the Health Center on the same day, only one $15 co-pay will be billed to you. You are responsible for payment which can be paid at PUSH or billed for payment at a later date.
Payment of the co-pay does not guarantee that the charges will be paid in full by your insurance. If the amount of the charges are less than $15, a co-pay will not be assessed and you are responsible for the actual billed amount.
