FREE Weekly Study Sessions!

Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers free, weekly study sessions facilitated by peers who have successfully taken the courses SI offers. SI is a way for students to grasp tough material and break it down into understandable segments in a collaborative group environment, as well as a place to share study tips.

Peer Success Coaching

The Peer Success Coaching program provides Purdue undergraduate students with opportunities to work one-on-one with trained Peer Success Coaches (PSCs). PSCs guide sgudents to academic, social, and personal success. Students can meet with PSCs throughout an entire semester or periodically via walk-in consultation hours. Undergraduate Conversation Group

groups are a terrific way to improve your fluency and expand your vocabulary. The conversation groups are also a great way to meet other Purdue undergraduates, share perspectives and experiences, and learn more about other cultures

Call Outs for Multinational Integration Xchange (MIX)

PREVENTING SUICIDE AMONG LGBTQ SERVICE MEMBERS

Co-Presented by the LGBTQ Center, Veterans Success Center, and Counseling and Psychological Services
Co-Sponsored by the LGBTQ Center and MFRI

During this session participants will view the Award-winning PBS documentary ASK NOT, which explores the history and effects of the U.S. military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. By following the personal stories of service members, ASK NOT reveals the psychological tolls on gay Americans who served in combat under a veil of secrecy. A panel of veterans and professionals trained in suicide prevention will begin a debrief discussion following the film. Light refreshments will be provided. Presented by the Campus Emergency Preparedness and Planning Office and Purdue Fire Department


Emergency preparedness is a critical component of safety on campus and can be of particular concern for persons with disabilities, including those with autism. This workshop will discuss tips and campus resources in different emergency situations for Purdue students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Wheelchair ballroom dancer Frank Epperson and Nicole Thompson, partner and instructor from Five Star Dance Studio, will be demonstrating dance techniques and reviewing the comparison of dancing with a person who uses a wheelchair versus a person who stands. Free Indesign Workshop

Participants will be introduced to the basic InDesign tools and fundamentals of document creation: object placement, image effects, saving, and export options.

InDesign II:
Participants will be further exposed to more features in InDesign which will include advanced image placement, combining shapes, grouping, text paths, text wrapping and an introduction to master pages.
