Boilermaker fans near and far will show their unity this fall by flying or displaying a Purdue flag beginning Monday, Aug. 5, and then on the Friday and Saturday of every home game weekend.
Tailgate on the Circle
Friday, August 30 – 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN
Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis will be a sea of gold and black as Purdue fans gather for this special Boilermaker tailgate. This super-sized pep rally kicks off the fall football season as the team heads to Cincinnati for its season opening game on Saturday, Aug. 31 (noon kickoff). The Tailgate will provide the full game-day scene, including the entire team, first-year head coach Darrell Hazell, cheerleaders, pep band, Purdue Pete, the World's Largest Drum and the Boilermaker Special. Special guests include Purdue University President Mitch Daniels; Athletics Director Morgan Burke; and other notable Purdue graduates, including event emcees Angela Buchman and Kevin Gregory, past Miss Indiana MerrieBeth Cox, and numerous Boiler football legends. Dream Weaving Gullah Stories & Songs featuring Ron & Natalie Daise

The Purdue Reamer Club is pleased to offer FREE RIDE FRIDAYS to the Purdue Community! Pick-up and drop-off are on the west side of STEW, approximately every 15 minutes. All rides are weather-permitting. More Information
Boiler Bridge Walk

John Myers Pedestrian Bridge
Meet and greet the Boilermaker football team on home game weekends at the Boiler Bridge Walk. Marshalled by Purdue Pete, the cheerleaders and the Boilermaker Special, the football team takes the home game walk across the The John Myers Pedestrian Bridge into Lafayette.

Dauch Alumni Center
The Purdue Alumni staff will be here for each home football game to have the Spurgeon Hall of Spirit, Morse Library and Rudolph room open for visitors. Come in, check out the displays and take your picture on a life size replica of the Boilermaker Special. Game times have not been set for all of the games but the building will close at kick off so staff can cheer on the Boilers. More Information
Boilermaker Crossing

Sally and Bob Weist Plaza between Mackey Arena and the Brees Academic Center
Fans, especially families, looking for fun before home games will want to check out the popular Boilermaker Crossing. Meet the teams, play on the inflatable games, get prizes, pick up posters and more! Boilermaker Crossing begins approximately three hours prior to kick off. Boilermaker Crossing will be located in the plaza between Mackey Arena and Holloway Gymnasium. The event is free for the whole family.
211Ί Session

Tradition will redefine itself this fall, when a major pep rally, titled 211Ί , featuring the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band, first-year head football coach Darrell Hazell and the Boilermaker football players becomes a pregame tradition in Mackey Arena. This event replaces, and expands upon, the band's traditional Slayter Hill concert. More Information

Antonio Zamora Jazz Jubilee

Purdue Black Cultural Center
A festive celebration to honor the love and legacy of Mr. Antonio Zamora, director emeritus of the Purdue Black Cultural Center.

The event includes a live jazz performance by the Rob Dixon Trio and the Danny Weiss Quartet immediately following the Purdue football game.
