Who we are

Mission

Parent & Family Connections at Purdue University engages family members as partners in their student’s educational journey.  By providing information, resources, tools, and services, we work together with families to empower students to be successful. As the liaison office for Purdue families, we advocate for the needs of parents and families and assist them in finding the appropriate campus resources and services.

Meet the Assistant Director

Jennifer Wetli, a 2005 graduate of Purdue’s College of Technology, joined Parent & Family Connections in 2015 after six years with Purdue University Residences (UR), where she worked closely on parent initiatives within UR, including the University Residences Parent Advisory Council (URPAC) and the University Residences Parent Association (UPRA), before moving into the UR marketing department. Since the implementation of Parent & Family Connections, Jen played a number of supporting roles to help establish the program before moving to Parent & Family Connections to work full time with all Boilermaker families throughout their Purdue experience.

Meet the Administrative Assistant

Beth Moore, joined the Office of the Dean of Students and the Parent & Family Connection in 2019 after four years at Purdue University’s Libraries and School of Information Studies. Beth earned her BS in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Beth has had a number of roles before joining the Boilermaker family, including sales, marketing, administrative support and K-12 educational roles. She looks forward to connecting with other Boilermaker families and students and helping them become familiar with the university.  Beth also has a parent perspective, as her son attends the College of Liberal Art here at Purdue!
