Purdue University’s customs clearance agency is Scan Global Logistics Inc. Scan Global Logistics is Purdue University’s Power of Attorney for customs clearance of international shipments coming into the University. Scan Global Logisitics has offices globally so if you know there will be a shipment coming internationally that will need to be cleared through customs, please have the supplier use the closest Scan Global Logistics office.
IMPORTANT: Please know that customs charges are IN ADDITION to normal shipping costs.
The following information must be added to ALL purchase orders for international suppliers:

Please forward copies of commercial invoices, packing slips, bills-of-lading, etc. as well as any supporting documentation such as requests for duty free, hazmat declaration, etc. to broker immediately upon shipment. Please use Indianapolis, Indiana as the port of entry.
The complete address and paragraph must be included on the purchase order. Information will be added by the Buyer on shopping carts coming to the Sourcing Cockpit.
