Food Stores

Responsibilities: The Food Stores operation provides food purchasing services for all food, food related items and food related services for the West Lafayette campus.  This includes; franchises, direct food purchases, direct delivery for perishable goods such as; bread, fresh produce and milk, disposable products, food equipment, beverages, bottled water dispensing units and used grease removal service. 

The majority of meat items, frozen foods, canned, cereal and staple items are purchased and warehoused at Food Stores for redistribution to the University food service operations.  The Director of Food Stores is also responsible for negotiating and administering vending contracts for the University.

Food Stores offers a controlled storage environment for research food product.  Further, any food products required for academic research or teaching purposes are obtained through this operation. 

Hours: Office: 8am-5pm.

Receiving: 7:30am - 2:30pm
First come first served basis.
