University Honors Convocation

  • Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
  • No tickets are required.
  • It's a free event.
  • Dress is casual.
  • Musical Prelude by Purdue Bells.
  • Soloist Kagiso Alicia Paynter.
  • President France Côrdova will speak.
  • Several student and faculty awards will be presented.
  • Honor students, including Dean's List and semester honorees, will be introduced in groups by school or college.
  • Graduating straight-A students will be introduced.
  • Event should conclude by 2:00 p.m.
  • No need to R.S.V.P.
  • Individual schools have their receptions prior to or after the Convocation.
  • Approximately 10,000 honor students plus their families are invited.

COLLEGE/SCHOOL RECEPTIONS

In conjunction with the Convocation, scholastic honors students and their families are invited to receptions given by the faculty and staff of the college, school or program in which the student is or was enrolled. The exceptions to that are the College of Liberal Arts, School of Veterinary Medicine, and the School of Pharmacy, which will not have receptions this year.
