Bio
Connie Lapinskas is the Assistant Provost for Financial Affairs.
Her responsibilities include managing the financial resources of
the Provost; interpreting, developing, and administering fiscal and
employment policy as it relates to areas reporting to the Provost; and
providing business services support to the Provost and the Offices of
the Board of Trustees, the President, the Executive Vice President and
Treasurer, and the Vice Presidents for Human Relations and Governmental
Relations. She also is responsible for the business office of the
Vice President for Information Technology. In addition, she is a member of the
University's Conflict of Interest Committee.
Lapinskas is a graduate of Purdue's School of Management and her appointments
in Purdue Business Services span 30 years. Her most recent position as
Associate Director of Budget and Fiscal Planning involved developing and managing
the University's internal operating budget and preparing the system-wide
legislative request. In previous positions, she served as business manager for the
School of Liberal Arts and business manager for the Schools of Pharmacy, Nursing
and Health Sciences, with responsibility for the overall financial operations and
fiscal integrity of these schools. She also has held positions within Sponsored Program
Services, with responsibility for grant and contract administration for industrial sponsors
and Department of Health and Human Services awards.
