Information for UHP Freshmen

Important Information: New UHP Freshmen

During the week of May 15, new UHP freshmen will receive a welcome packet in the mail which provides information about academic and co-curricular opportunities in fall semester 2006. When you receive the welcome packet, please take the time to carefully read the information. Below are some highlights about fall semester 2006.

HONR Courses

HONR courses are interdisciplinary seminars designed especially for UHP students! These courses are taught by top-notch faculty members who have been recognized for their teaching excellence. UHP students receive priority in registering for HONR courses and class size is limited to 20 students. UHP is pleased to offer 8 HONR courses in fall semester 2006. Please click here to access HONR course packet.

Action step: Please read HONR course descriptions in advance of your Day on Campus (DOC) session. Please bring it to DOC and ask your academic advisor about scheduling one of these courses in fall semester.
