UHP Application for Current Purdue Students

The UHP is accepting applications from current Purdue undergraduate students in semester classification 1, 2, or 3. This application process is for current Purdue undergraduate students only who are enrolled at the West Lafayette campus during the 2007-2008 academic year. UHP students are expected to participate actively in UHP academic and co-curricular enrichment opportunities. Please note that the Universite Laval Study Tour and the Lyceum, the residential learning community are for new first-year UHP students only.

Application deadline is May 12, 2008. Please note that late applications may be not considered. UHP selection committee will review applications after the posting of spring semester 2008 grades. All applicants will be notified of their application status by no later than June 30, 2008. Express the Joy of Reading

The DAB External Board committed to a project with Lafayette Urban Ministry's (LUM) after-school program. On Wednesday, March 19th a group of students from the UHP read to K-5th grade students and helped them make puppets and put on a show about the story. Click here for pictures!

Honors Week 2008

The Director’s Advisory Board coordinated “honors week” which consisted of a week-long series of activities designed to promote and celebrate honors education at Purdue. Click on the titles below for more information and pictures!

“Networking with Class” was facilitated by Mr. Anthony Cawdron of Westwood on Monday, February 25th in the Lafayette Room in Purdue Memorial Union.

"Dessert & Dollars” was facilitated by Cristy Cornell on Wednesday, February 27th in Stewart Center.

"Professor Appreciation Dinner" was held on Thursday, February 28th in the East and West Faculty Lounges in Purdue Memorial Union.

"Nerds on Ice!" was on Friday, February 29th at Riverside Skating Center in West Lafayette.

Valentines Day

For the third consecutive year, UHP students decorated Valentine's Day themed crafts and donated the items to patients at St. Elizabeth Regional Health Center. Click here to see pictures of the students and their crafts!
