Community Service

Purdue’s Center for Professional Selling prioritizes community service, making it one of the most treasured core values. Throughout the academic year, students in the Center identify service projects, recruit other sales students and organize efforts to execute the project objective. Reaching out into the community, a partnership with Frankfort High School DECA was formed to support their sales training for competitions.  Through these activities, the Sales Center is working to shape selfless, globally minded students who are willing to roll up their sleeves to help others.

Previous Sales Center service projects include making blankets for children in the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis, planning, preparing and serving meals at Riley Hospital for Children, creating over 500 craft activity bags for the Riley Hospital Cheer Guild, serving food at Lafayette Transitional Housing, and participating in the Lafayette Urban Ministry Jubilee.
