Each year, about 150 Purdue students earn our degree in Selling and Sales Management. These graduates have successfully completed four courses specifically focused on relationship selling, plus additional specific courses in communications skills, math, management and leadership. In addition, each student working toward our degree in Selling and Sales management must successfully complete a sales internship, before being admitted to the senior capstone course in sales.
The Purdue Center for Professional Selling is a resource that offers students a variety of practical experiences in sales – partner companies sponsor sales competitions, business networking events, workshops, presentations and interactions with students in our sales courses (open only to Gold Level partners), and many other creative and innovative events that excite students about interning or permanent positions with partner companies. The coursework, the practical interactions with partner-sponsored events combine to help make Purdue sales students even more "career-ready"!
