With a passionate focus on developing career-ready students, the Center for Professional Selling serves as a pivotal hub of experiential learning for undergraduate students who seek a professional sales career or desire to supplement their education by developing selling skills.
Complementing the Selling and Sales Management degree program, the Center partners with companies who support students in their journey to become more career-ready. Practical experiences in sales competitions, resume critiques, mock interviews, elevator pitches, speed selling contests and business networking events provide value to students, partner companies, and underscore the Center’s mission. The Center is a member of the University Sales Center Alliance, which advances the sales profession through training, research and outreach. The Alliance has recognized Purdue’s Center for blazing the trail in sales education.
Each year, about 120 Purdue students earn an undergraduate degree in Selling and Sales Management. Our graduates are well-rounded sales leaders with portfolios that include enriching experiences from relevant coursework, industry internships and participation in sales competitions, ultimately enabling them to contribute in a faster and more significant way as they begin their careers.
