Pre-professional students are those who are preparing for fields such as medicine, dentistry, law, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, optometry and numerous other fields. As a pre-professional student you can major in anything you want while also preparing for one of these exciting careers.

Purdue can help you advance your skills and interests in a professional area. We provide all the courses you need to prepare plus numerous opportunities to expand your world through volunteering, student organizations, study abroad, career exploration, concerts, performances, guest speakers and so much more. Many of our undergraduate students participate in research. Whether it is testing new forms of CPR or using nanotechnology, it is an amazing experience to collaborate on some of the most cutting-edge research in the world.

Located in Young Hall, Pre-Professional Advising is a centralized source at Purdue for information on health and law careers and requirements to enter these fields.
