Employee Classification System
BACKGROUND
The employee classification system was established by Business
Manager and Assistant Treasurer Memorandum No. 145. Over time, modifications
to the classification system occurred and Business Office Memoranda
No. 181 and 193 were issued to recognize these changes. New changes
in our employment policies now necessitate a further updating of
this listing of classifications for monthly employees.
SUMMARY
The major change includes the addition of the new classification
for Continuing and Limited-Term Lecturers. In addition, this document
provides a general updating of classifications and legend definitions
to reflect current usage and practice.
