Comments from our participants:

  • When I signed up for this training; I didn't think that I would get so much information in just one day. It was a very informative talk and I walked away with lots of thoughts in my head. I have shared the information with several and encouraged them to attend one of the sessions. It is a very important topic and everyone should be aware of this.
  • My boss and I now have some idea of what to do, better than just wondering what we would do. We now have plans.
  • Exceptionally great course. I truly wish we (our society today) didn't need to have this training; but I am so glad that it's available here at Purdue.... I'd like to see more schools on the Purdue campus receive this training. Unfortunately there are many people that don't think it's needed. I shutter to think of what will be needed to change that thinking.
  • Enjoyed your presentation style and the mixed media that you used to present the info. The role plays were helpful. The training helped me think about how I can be better prepared but also pointed out to me that its difficult to prepare for every possible contingency and probably remaining calm and thinking clearly is the best defense in uncertain and dangerous situations - and that's tough to do. But it motivated me to commit to taking the RAD course which I have been procrastinating on for some time now.
  • I told my co-workers about this workshop and gave them the contact information. Everyone should attend this!
  • This class was dynamic & energetic as well as informative.
  • It was a great course and it answered a lot of my questions!! I will recommend this course to everybody I know. It was definitely worth it!!!
  • My compliments and thanks for an informative and (though tense at times) a fun workshop! The laughter really helped to ease the tension of the subject matter.
  • I think every Purdue supervisor should be required to take this course, and it would be helpful to every faculty member.
