PMO Giving Back
Several members of the Glee Club as well as Assistant Director Ted Arthur helped out at Lafayette Food Finders Food Bank. Nearly 1,000 pounds of meat crumbles were packaged into family-sized portions that day!

At PMO, music brings us together but it’s not the only thing that defines us. No matter if we are on the road, across an ocean or right at home in our community, our students are always looking for a way to give back.

During Purdue’s Green Week, PMO students performed “On the Banks of the Wabash” for all the campus and community volunteers before putting on gloves and joining in the effort to “Detrash the Wabash.”

The Purduettes put smiles on faces by performing at the Ronald McDonald House.

PMO students have gone door to door throughout our community collecting canned and other non-perishable food items for Food Finders Food Bank.

During the Purdue Varsity Glee Club’s spring break tour to southern California, the Glee Club visited the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and entertained all the volunteers.

Every year, the Purduettes perform and help present the Annual Purdue Cancer Benefit and the most recent benefit brought in more than $15,000 for cancer research.

During the Glee Club’s international performance tour of South Africa, the students entertained children, their parents and the staff at the largest children’s hospital in Soweto, South Africa.

Every year, Purdue Musical Organizations donates more than $1,300 worth of Purdue Christmas Show tickets to campus and community fundraising events.
