Center Stage: Phenomena
The students of PMO presented Phenomena, a free student-produced, student performed rock show on Friday night. The show was a benefit for Lafayette Food Finders Food Bank. Audience members were asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate. Barry Helfrich entertains the crowd here with a version of Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart.”
Kyle Sutton led the group in “Happy Ending.” During this song performers surrounded Elliott Hall of Music and sang from the aisles.
The Purdue Bells then played the song “Palladium” and had Pat Brown on drums back them up and made the song even more awesome.
Purduettes Amanda Conte and Kirsten Fletter joined forces to sing “All the Things He Said.”
Glee Club Senior Connie Baltzell performed Gavin DeGraw’s “Chariot” during the show.
Glee Club Senior Jeremy Clifford led the men of PMO in Blink 182’s “All the Small Things.”
Purduette Freshman Chrissy Kvachkoff takes to the spotlight and rips up Carrie Underwood’s “Just a Dream.”
Purduette Manager Emily Gorrel leads the women of PMO in Jordin Sparks’ “Battlefield.”.
Paige Devine shows the guys who's boss while singing “When I Grow Up” originally done by the Pussycat Dolls.
The guys came out midway through the song and sang their own verse of the song with Phoenix Lyons on lead vocals.
Aaron Strand leads the guys in a rendition of The Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.”
Purduette Junior Carrie Syberg leads the girls in “What I Like About You” originally by The Kinks.
The show rounded out with a medley of Bon Jovi songs including “You Give Love A Bad Name,” “Livin’ On A Prayer,” and “Have a Nice Day.” Thanks to all who came out and brought donations for Food Finders. See you at Phenomena 2011!!
