Center Stage: Glee Club Spring Break Day 5
The Glee Club arrived to set-up the stage, while senior and Sir of Traditions Ryan McLean prepared the pizza lunch for the guys to enjoy.
What a wonderful space to perform!
New man Jeremy Stephens worked hard to assemble the risers for the performance. Better be careful—those things are heavy!
Everyone took advantage of some free time before the first show to relax, play sports and practice music.
Sophomore John Foerster performed a sound check for his solo that day while new members of the group stuffed programs for the audience.
Here was the setting of the first show: mid-afternoon with a full house. The crowd couldn’t wait for the Glee Club to run in and dash onto stage!
Randy Sarnowski ran off of the stage with the entire Glee Club to serenade a lady of his choice.
In this massive church, specialty group Ba-Na-Na energetically sang songs from the 50's and 60's.
In the lobby after the show, Director Bill Griffel conducted The Whiffenpoof Song.
There were nearly two hours to burn after the first show, and a few members of the PVGC had decided to bring some playing cards to pass the time.
Before we knew it, it was time for show number two! The entire group had run into a surrounding formation for the second show that day.
Sophomore Kyle Hoos serenaded a lucky woman during the second show.
After the second and final show of the day, Glee Clubbers mingled with the audience. Senior Noah Demerly met up with some family members. What a nice reunion, and so far away from Indiana! A special thanks to all our friends at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs for hosting us again this year. We had a great time and we would love to come back soon!
