Center Stage: Glee Club Camp Day 2

PMO is on the road! Students and staff load up on the busses to go to Camp Tecumseh.

Women and Men of Purdue Musical Organizations grab an early breakfast before departing.

As is custom for all guests entering camp, the Glee Club was greeted at the front of the grounds by Tecumseh himself.

The Glee Club unloaded their belongings into various cabins at Camp: Abnaki, Hopi, Choctaw, Catawba, and Cherokee.

The PVGC new men help set up the equipment and risers for rehearsal.

Bill Griffel split the group into sections to rehearse the group's two debut numbers: "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel" and "You Don't You Won't".

Bill Griffel gets his one and only chance to be the center of attention on the risers.

Former Assistant Director of the PVGC, Greg Sanders, visited to help the Glee Club rehearse during camp.

The Voiceovers tune their close harmonies as they learn their new song "Plainotfancy" with Assistant Director Ted Arthur.

During some downtime, Sophomore Ethan Lapham enjoys a good book by the river.

Senior and Sir of Recruitment, Jeremy Chance is being productive on his computer during afternoon free time.

STUDY UP! Sophomore Billy Thiedeman makes sure to study his new man cards.

Being the good big brother that he is, Junior Josh Getto mentors his little brother, Matt Hanauer, between rehearsals .

Sophomore Clark Langmack was put in charge of the food for “Pillow Treats” from PVGC parents. Unfortunately he seems to be hoarding all the food for himself.

Steve Sanders and Tim Harris, both sophomores in the Glee Club, participate in a longstanding Camp Tecumseh tradition, a friendly game of carpetball.

Three Points! Sophomores John Brunner and Clark Langmack play a game of cornhole during their break.

Male bonding at its best: Junior Jimmy O’Connor also helps his little brother, New Man Logan Pankratz with New and Old Men flashcards.

Students of PMO had the opportunity to dine with Director Bill Griffel as a part of PMO’s collaborative effort between the groups as a part of the 2009-2010 season.

Are we having fun yet? Members of both PVGC and Purduettes enjoyed the food, fellowship and fun at dinner.
