Center Stage: Glee Club in Munster

The Purdue Varsity Glee Club performed their final "road show" of the season at the Munster Center for the Performing Arts.

Gerritt VanderMeer, interim director of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, led the men in a blessing before dinner.

Sophomore Jim Giberson visited with friends he met last year from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

There was not an empty seat in the house when the Glee Club took the stage. The performance sold out within one week of tickets going on sale!

Freshman Tyler Ellis brought down the house on "Lord, Where is Our Freedom."

Sophomore Ryan McLean took a knee and sang to Emma, the beautiful mother of PMO Assistant Director Derrick Williams.

Senior Jamie MacDougall serenaded the wonderful Nancy Teall, mother of Rob Teall, the Glee Club Assistant Manager for 2008-09.

Sophomore Barry Helfrich, freshman John Lindstrom, sophomore Jim Giberson and freshman David Maurer showed off their dance moves as the Country Quartet.

Gerritt VanderMeer led the men in "Goodnight Ladies" before the buses headed back to campus. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends in Munster and we hope you'll invite us back again soon!
