Daily Student Perspective: Jordan Friend

Glee Club

On Wednesday, we took a bus ride to Menlo Park and took a walk around the area looking at the beautiful scenery and shops. A group of guys and I went to a clock shop and looked at a lot of expensive and beautiful clocks. We ended up going to Quiznos for lunch because they had a deal for a five dollar large sandwich and we didn't want to pay too much on that day because we were saving up for the later days in the week. We then took the bus up to Atherton High school to do two shows in our travel attire. Both shows went well and the students asked a lot of questions and seemed really interested in our group. The girls were shy during our run out to them but that was to be expected as they probably weren't used to a bunch of college guys running to sing to them. At the end of the day we had some free time and went out to the city to get dinner. I went to a place called Super Duper burger where Seth Miller got a double cheeseburger with eggs on it. It actually looked really good but the premise was kind of odd to me. We then went to a local dance establishment where we had a great time until we took the train back to the hotel for the night.
