Center Stage: Glee Club First Nighter
Before the show, the Glee Club polished the choreography for "Strike Up the Band".
The Purduettes got the gentlemen ready by singing a great fire-up song.
Senior Joel Sampson walked into Elliot before the show to get ready.
Before the house opened, the group rehearsed the surround; being in Elliott Hall gave the men much more distance to cover.
The Glee Club debuted their new opener, “It’s a Beautiful Day”, featuring Ryan Smith.
Following the next song, the group took the audience back to Notre Dame Cathedral as they sang "Ave Maria".
Specialty group, Lighthouse, shared the story of Noah with the audience. Austin Rauschuber impressed with a high solo.
Some of the choreography in "Strike Up the Band" was revamped, but the Block P will always stay the same!
New Man, Ben Merrell was the lucky gentlemen chosen to sing the run out “L-O-V-E”
Ryan Gurreri serenaded an audience member during our run-out song.
Flashbacks performed songs by Elton John and Phil Collins, including "Crocodile Rock" and "Can't Hurry Love".
Junior Jake Shapiro itched and scratched during Ba-Na-Nas version of “Poison Ivy”.
Senior Nick Miller had some fun with Sophomore John Evelo while playing familiar characters during the short-version of “The Wizard of Oz”.
After changing out of his Dorothy costume, Nick Miller gave a lavaliere to his girlfriend, Diana Poulin, by singing an original song he wrote.
Many alumni got on stage with the Glee Club and sang some familiar songs including “Brothers Sing On”.
Voiceovers sang a familiar favorite “Viva la Vida” with a great acapella arrangement.
The gentlemen ended a high-energy show with the powerful song, "Tribute to World Peace".
