Beginning our driving tour, we first saw the home of the BMW Headquarters. BMW stands for Bavarian Motor Works.
Continuing our tour of Munich, we drove by the elaborate the Nymphenburg Palace where King Ludwig and his family lived.
We also drove by the modern art museum, Haus der Kunst.
While visiting Munich we saw the beautiful 'Stadt Oper' which is the opera house of Munich.
There was a beautiful black and gold cathedral near the city square of Munich, Germany.
Some students climbed the many stairs of a beautiful bell tower of Saint Joseph's Cathedral. Here they overlooked a beautiful cityscape.
While waiting to enter our dining venue, Assistant Director Ted Arthur became friends with a local street mime.
After an interesting day of touring Munich, the students, staff, and guests enjoyed themselves at the famous Hofbrauhaus. We dined in a great hall seen here.
As we ate, we listened to an “Oompa Band” where they played lively polka and traditional Bavarian music.
While at the Hofbrauhaus, Brittany Cruz, John Kipp, Erica Downey, and Kathryn Johnson enjoyed the libations offered.
After our first course of our meal, the Glee Club sang for the guests in the great hall!
The ladies of the Purduettes joined in the singing as well. It was a great night of toasting and singing!
Traditional German dancers performed for the guests in the great hall. The dancing continued through the evening.
It was another great day in Munich!
