Center Stage: Glee Club at Alpha Chi Omega
Wednesday, February 27, 2013
The Glee Club joined the girls of Alpha Chi Omega Wednesday night for an evening of food, friends, and lots of singing.
After eating and chatting for a bit, the gentlemen escorted the ladies to the formal room where they sat together in preparation for the serenade.
The Glee Club gets to serenade Alpha Chi Omega every year so several returning members made sure to reconnect with old friends.
Junior Andrew James, Director Bill Griffel, and Assistant Director Ted Arthur were positioned at the front of the room to lead the group through the performance.
Three of the specialties were able to perform for the sisters. Lighthouse sang “Long, Black Train”.
Flashbacks impressed the house with their dance moves while singing a collection of Michael Jackson songs.
Ba Na Na serenaded the house mom, who loved every second of the performance.
The Glee Club performed several songs. Some were fun songs like “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold” along with tender classics such as “The Way You Look Tonight” and “Come Fly with Me”.
The girls joined in singing “Hail, Purdue!” and ended the night with cupcakes in the kitchen.
