Center Stage: Purdue Bells Southern Indiana Tour

Junior Alyssa Choi and sophomore Jeff Franklin get the group awake and revved-up for the day with an all-encompassing PMO pop-quiz.

Purdue Bells specialty group OTT practices William Tell Overture to be performed for an audience for the first time during the afternoon concert.

After a speedy set-up and wardrobe change, the group gathers to do the Hokey Pokey as per tradition before going out on stage to perform.

The first performance of the tour goes off without a hitch.

Ringer Katy Martin, whose family arranged for the Southern Indiana Tour to happen, greets family who came out to see her and the Purdue Bells perform.

The Bells warm-up before church service with the host church’s bell choir.

Both ensembles look to director Michelle Beimfohr for the cue to pick up our bells and play the song we prepared together.

Ringers from both groups and members of the congregation gather to share one last meal before the Purdue Bells head to their last location for the final concert of the weekend.
