Center Stage: Glee Club at Scottish Rite Cathedral

Glee Club

Junior Taylor Reiff and Sophomore Blake Nash take the time to admire the beautiful architecture and design of the Scottish Rite.

The Glee Club’s rhythm section rehearses for the show, ready to pull out some new tricks, and surprise their audience.

Lighthouse takes the stage, running through “Long Black Train”.

Ba Na Na shows off some of their dancing skills while singing “Do You Love Me?”.

Finally, the Glee Club takes the stage, excited to perform at the Scottish Rite.

After a quick dinner, and a fast change into their tuxes, the Glee Club runs on stage, kicking off the show with “Life is a Highway”.

Following that, the Gee Club performs Ave Maria, with a small group down in front performing the song’s “Trio” section.

Afterward, the Glee Club pays tribute to one of the best songwriters of the 20th century as they sing the “Nat King Cole Medley”.

Voiceovers takes the stage, performing “Titanium”.

After a short break, the Glee Club runs back on stage for their rendition of “I’ve Got Rhythm”.

Senior Aaron Bourdage takes center stage as he performs his lavaliere, and sings “Over the Rainbow” to his mother.

Flashbacks rocks the crowd with their "Eagles Medley".

Alumni join the Glee Club on stage for “The Eagle”, “Purdue Hymn”, and “Prayer from Lohengrin”.

After the alumni are seated, the Glee Club finishes the show with “Hail Purdue”.

Following the show, Senior Caleb Larsen, the Manager of the Glee Club, takes some time to talk with his brother, a Glee Club alumnus.
