Center Stage: Glee Club at St. Luke's United Methodist Church

The men of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club spent their Sunday at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. They led worship in song for three church services.

The guys also enjoyed coffee and donuts provided by the church.

After worship, the guys sing the blessing for lunch.

Setup for the afternoon show began after lunch. New Man Seun Onabanjo sets up the solo microphone stands.

Sophomore Jay Josephson tapes down an extension cord running to power the main speakers.

Sound check followed to make sure everything was just right for the show.

Show Time! The guys hit the risers with their version of “Joyful Joyful, We Adore Thee.”

A group of four seniors brings back songs from the musical “Jersey Boys.”

Senior Charley Smith sings a song titled “Arlington.”

Ba Na Na entertains the crowd.

The men then did their “5 minute rendition of ‘The Wizard of Oz.’”

Glee Club Alumni were then invited to the stage to join in on “Pilgrim’s Chorus.”

Flashbacks then sang their new Beatles medley.

Senior Lou Fenoglio leads in the singing of “God Bless The USA.”

“Strike Up The Band” closed the show once again. The Block P looks as good as always.

As always, after another great show, the men of the Glee Club sing “Goodnight Ladies” in the lobby to tell everyone goodbye.
