Saturday, March 31, 2012

The Glee Club arrived at Winona Lake on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Outside the performance venue, there were a few carvings of musical instruments, including one of a trombone and one of a cello, pictured here.

Sophomore Max Showalter tried his hand at running the properties committee for the first time. Everything went smoothly!

The show began, and Bill was fired up from the very beginning of the run-in surround.

Andrew James, Jason Ban, and Ted Arthur accompanied us throughout the show.

On stage, the Glee Club began singing, the part of the show everyone loves!

Lighthouse was the first specialty to perform.

Junior Robert Lechner sang the solo to the spiritual, "Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel."

The Glee Club got down to beg during the country song, "Be My Baby Tonight."

Sophomore Nick Miller performed the solo for the Mississippi Squirrel Revival. Here, the men got to act a little silly while backing him up.

Junior Colton Withers sang the run-out while the rest of the men prepared to find a special lady to serenade.

Senior Steve Dewitte and several other Glee Clubbers delighted audience members with a surprise serenade.

Sophomore Michael Eldridge sang a solo while the rest of the men took a quick break.

Next, Ba-Na-Na showed off their tail-shaking abilities during, "Shake A Tailfeather," as originally seen in the movie, The Blues Brothers.

With the Glee Club back on stage, freshman Austin Welch made his Glee Club solo debut by singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

The Glee Clubbers got to ham it up again in "Lambscapes."

Flashbacks performed their version of Copacabana.

Senior Billy Thiedeman got the audience on their feet by singing God Bless the USA.

After the show, the audience got to talk with the Glee Clubbers.

Freshman Clint Buechler shared every GleeClubber’s favorite tradition, giving away his carnation.
