Center Stage: Glee Club at St. Mary's Cathedral

The men of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club gathered before their show at St. Mary’s Cathedral for dinner in the basement.

After dinner, the setup commenced. Senior Roy Johnson puts a microphone in the piano.

Voiceovers warmed up during sound check.

Lighthouse took their turn at sound check.

Show time! The Glee Club surrounded the cathedral with song!

The show opened with “Joyful, Joyful.”

The guys sang their version of “Ave Maria.”

The men of the Glee Club took full advantage of the wonderful space by singing some of the more popular songs in their repertoire.

They also filled the halls with a new song called “Lux Arumque.”

Ba-Na-Na stepped out from the group in the Nat King Cole Medley.

Junior Colton Withers sang the run out song.

Purdue Varsity Glee Club Director Bill Griffel introduced the men in the band.

Flashbacks took the stage next.

Sophomore Nick Miller serenades a woman in the audience during Ba-Na-Na’s set.

They also debuted a new song at the show, "Come and Go With Me."

“Lambscapes” is always a crowd favorite.

Senior John Foerster lavaliered his girlfriend, Purduette Allie Conrad, during the show.

While the men greeted the audience after the performance, Allie Conrad posed proudly wearing her new Lavalier necklace.
