Center Stage: Purduettes at Ohio State President's Council Pregame
Saturday, November 12, 2011
The Purduettes prepare to serenade members of the Purdue President’s Council on game day! Before the performance, the ladies gather in the Flag Room of the Purdue Memorial Union as Manager Alex Robinson adjusts the lineup.
The ladies begin their last full show of the semester with the Purduette classic “You Better Love Me.”

During a break in the performance, Purduettes director Jeff Vallier takes time to address the audience and introduce the next song.
The ladies of the Barbershoppers perform the lively tune “The Alley Cat Song” for the members of President’s Council.

The Purduettes beam with pride as the audience applauds them for their performance.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, the ladies perform one of their favorite songs – the “Armed Forces Medley.” During the tune, it is tradition for the veterans and active duty service members in the audience to stand and sing along when they hear their branch’s song.
As the veterans in the audience stood during the song of their respective branch of the armed forces, members of the Purdue Student Union Board gave small tokens of appreciation to the men and women who have so bravely served our country.
The audience stands and joins along with the ladies in singing “Hail Purdue!” The Boilermakers went on to defeat Ohio State for the second time in a row at home with a 26-23 win in overtime!
