Sunday, August 28, 2011
What a beautiful day! The ladies are eager to host the first "Picnic with the Purduettes" on Slayter Hill. Here, the ladies run onstage to begin the show!
After opening the show with a bang with the tune "It's Today/Tonight," the ladies strike a pose.
The ladies get their groove on while Junior Allison Conrad displays her skill at beatboxing in the song, "Brand New You."
The Purduettes are excited to showcase a new number, "Choreography." The song allows the ladies to express themselves through dance.
Purduettes director Jeff Vallier conducts the ladies during the classic Purduette tune, "You Better Love Me."

The ladies sing backups as senior Allie Rieth shows off her beautiful voice during her solo in "House of Love."

Sophomore Kathryn Johnson dazzles the audience with her solo in "Hosanna."
Sophomore Jenna Engelberth delivers a very entertaining serenade to a lucky audience member. Run-outs allow the ladies to get up close and personal with their admirers!

The Flappers specialty charms the audience with their animated performance of 20's music.

The Purduette Trio captivates their listeners with a beautiful and harmonious 40's sound.

Junior Caroline LaDue and the rest of the Purduettes inspire the audience to join them in "I've Got the Music in Me."
"Mathematics for me!" During the STEM song, the ladies pose while singing about their individual areas of study.

Senior Marissa Williams does a wonderful job singing the enchanting solo to "Songbird" as the ladies look on.
Junior Chrissy Kvachkoff and sophomore Jenna Engelberth inspire the audience with their solos during the revitalized Purduette song, "Distance You Have Come."
The Purduettes are very grateful for such a wonderful audience! The attendees were able to enjoy gorgeous weather and a picnic while listening to the Purduettes entertain.
To close out a great show, the Purduette new women sing the second verse of "Hail Purdue!" as the old women look on.
