Friday, August 12, 2011
Purdue Musical Organizations was proud to participate in Purdue Day at the Indiana State Fair for the third year in a row!
We had more than 2,000 visitors to our PMO booth and more than 850 entered for a chance to win a pair of free tickets to the 78th Annual Purdue Christmas Show.
We had temporary PMO music note logo tattoos for the young and young at heart.
Kent Shoults, PMO business manager from the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, and Kim Van Meter, PMO account clerk, take a break from promoting Purdue to smile for the camera.
PMO Scheduling & Events Coordinator Lance Connolly visits with "Glee Club Groupies" Mary Lou Waltz and Sandy Clifford.
The Purduette Flappers performed on the Purdue Live! Stage along with the Purduette Trio.
Ba-Na-Na performed a personal serenade for Dr. Melissa Exum, our Vice President for Student Affairs.
Sing it, guys!
Our PMO booth stayed very busy throughout the entire day.
We were even visited by Indiana royalty!
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and stopped by the Purdue Live! Stage to watch our students perform. We're looking forward to another great year. Hail Purdue!
