What is the history of Bailey Hall?

After more than 60 years of living in a small space on the side of the Elliott Hall of Music, two long-time PMO fans and supporters, Ralph and Bettye Bailey have pledged more than $4.5 million to assist in building a new home for PMO. Bailey Hall will provide critically needed space in a modern, music education setting that meets the current and anticipated needs of students and staff.

On Monday, November 15, 2010 PMO hosted a reception in the Elliott Hall of Music to honor the more than 450 donors to Bailey Hall. Check out pictures from the reception. On Saturday, December 18, 2010 the Purdue University Board of Trustees approved constructing PMO's new home, Ralph and Bettye Bailey Hall. Schmidt Associates of Indianapolis has designed the facility which will be paid for entirely from gift funds.
