Physical Facilities Training Department

The Training Department is a dedicated team of training/ performance improvement professionals, committed to supporting the learning and performance improvement of Physical Facilities employees.

The team’s primary goal is to serve the customers who comprise the entire Physical Facilities organization, with performance improvement efforts and training opportunities both within Physical Facilities and outside resources. We assist in identifying and closing the knowledge, skill and attitude gaps that occur as a result of changing technology, customers needs and strategic goals of the organization. Through a combination of consultation and direct performance improvement strategies, we assist every client in achieving their goals and reaching their potential.

Categories of training that are developed and delivered through a train-the-trainer concept consist of: technical skills, mandated safety, and leadership/development learning.

What is learned and applied on the job is of prime importance regarding the return on the investment of such efforts; therefore, we measure as much of the learning that occurs wherever possible. Measurements ensure that content, trainers, and trainees are benefiting and targeted accurately to close those gaps noted above.

Perhaps the most unique aspect of our approach is the effort to customize the performance improvement initiative for the given need. This process allows us to tailor the methods, focus, content and delivery for the individual learners involved.
