The US Post Office, in conjunction with Purdue University has established new street addresses for all University buildings. This change enables the university to better comply with 911 emergency response protocol in addition to the US Post Office address schemes. The use of building abbreviations in street addresses and department numbers as the +4 in the zip code is replaced by actual street numbers and names, as well as a newly assigned +4.
