It is our mission to help provide you with resources, forms, services and training to help keep you safe on Purdue's campuses.
We are an organization of men, women, students, and full- and part-time staff, from many different backgrounds and educational experiences. About 150 of us provide services to all four Purdue campuses. We estimate that 80% of our time is spent in proactive services, and 20% of our time reacting to emergencies, crimes, or other campus issues.
Much of our proactive activities are focused on helping members of our campus community comply with the myriad of regulatory requirements that apply to a research campus. Our philosophy is one of collaboration -we are here to serve you, the campus community member.
Our goal on these sites is to provide you with opportunities to explore our services. They range from working with your police and fire departments, to emergency preparedness planning, to how and where to park on our campus. The links to the Radiological and Environmental Management pages will assist you in identifying safety and environmental training that will benefit you or your staff.
