2013 Building on Relationships Conference – January 15, 2013
Introduction
Relationships, much like buildings, aren’t built overnight, but rather, one “red” brick at a time. We hope you were able to join us in collaborating across professional disciplines to construct a university plan that addresses the dynamic construction environment at Purdue.
The first in a series of semi-annual conferences regarding construction at Purdue, Building on Relationships was held on January 15, 2013. This is a new year and a new opportunity where, as business partners, we can shape relationships to successfully navigate the waters of change in campus planning, design, construction and operations.
The Project Management and Construction Department's 2013 Building on Relationships Conference was designed to provide an afternoon forum for learning about the changes in construction procedures at Purdue. Guests were provided with information regarding the following:
- Accessing project information
- Public institution requirements
- Future projects on campus
- JOC projects
The 2013 Building on Relationships Conference also provided an opportunity to network with design and construction professionals.
Who Should Attend
This conference was planned for engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, project managers, and others interested in construction opportunities at Purdue.
For Program Information
The location of the conference was at the Purdue Memorial Union, North Ballroom.
The conference began at 1 p.m. and concluded at 5 p.m. on January 15, 2013.
