A one-day, onsite furniture sale will be taking place at the back dock of Wiley Residence Hall on Wednesday, May 15 from 1-6 p.m. To access the dock, turn south off of Stadium Avenue into the service drive east of Tarkington Residence Hall.

All items purchased must be taken during the sale, and the buyer is responsible for loading and securing all purchases. Only cash or checks made payable to Purdue Univeristy will be accepted. Prices include 7% Indiana State sales tax.

Most of our meat comes from right here at Purdue. We raise cattle, swine, sheep, and poultry just west of town at our Purdue Animal Sciences farm. The animals are bred, fed, harvested, and processed by Purdue students and staff to bring you fresh, high-quality, locally-grown meat. Look for the labels “Locally Grown” to know you are eating meat raised right here.
We age our beef in the cooler for an average of 14 days before it is cut, packaged, and available for sale to you. The extra time spent aging causes our steaks and roasts to be more tender and have a stronger flavor than what you would find at a common supermarket. Try it, we promise you won’t be disappointed!
Purdue Group Purchases
We give a 10% discount to all Purdue groups and student organizations when they purchase meat from us. This can be anything from a special picnic in your department to the weekly meals that are prepared in a Greek house. We will also accept an internal Purdue account number for the purchase.
Proceeds from our meat sales go towards offsetting the costs of educating Purdue students about the food animal industry. These expenses include the cost of animals, staff, and equipment. We are the only functioning university meat lab in the state of Indiana, and we feel it is important to educate our future leaders on the production of safe, high-quality meat to feed our growing world. When you purchase meat from the Boilermaker Butcher Block, you are getting a great product and supporting a great endeavor!
Located in Smith Hall, Room 170, the Butcher Block is open from 2 – 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.

One Lane Entrance to Mollenkopf Parking Lot off Northwestern Avenue
The entrance into the Mollenkopf parking lot off of Northwestern Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic either Thursday or Friday (May 2 or 3), weather dependent. Traffic direction will be in place, and motorists should be cautious in the area.
Traffic Reduced to One Lane Between Cherry Lane and Stadium Avenue
As of Thursday, May 2, traffic is reduced to one lane northbound and one lane southbound on Northwestern Avenue between Cherry Lane and Stadium Avenue. The lane restrictions will be in place for approximately two weeks.
Southbound Northwestern Closed to Traffic between Yeager and Lindberg on May 8
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, southbound Northwestern Avenue from Yeager Road to Lindberg Road will be closed, and northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. On Thursday, May 9, Northwestern Avenue will be restricted to one lane in both directions.
Ramp Closure North of Yeager Road Roundabout
The ramps that connect the roundabout at Yeager Road to U.S. 52 on Northwestern Avenue will be closed the evening of May 13 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. for night time repairs. Depending on the both the weather and the progress, the ramps might also be closed the evening of May 14 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m.
Building Services will be cleaning parking garages from 10:30 p.m. until 7 a.m. according to the following schedule:
Parking will be available during the day.
Building Services may need to adjust the starting and completion dates for each garage based on weather, resources and equipment. Changes to the schedule will be communicated. There will be no cleaning on May 26 or July 4 due to holidays.
*The Grant Street Parking Garage will be cleaned one half at a time, starting with the top three levels.

Parking along the east side of Sheetz Street west of Hawkins Hall will be reserved for loading on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Vehicles that are not moved beforehand will be towed at the owners expense.
