CAD Operations

How we serve you

CAD Operations provides client side administration, technical support, and training for CAD and graphic software for Physical Facilities.  It also serves as a resource for developing and maintaining the CAD standards for project deliverables as well as providing graphic presentations to support project and campus planning efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities

Serve as client side administrator and technical support for Physical Facilities and outside firms as it relates to Physical Facilities’ CAD and graphic software for planning, design, and construction projects.

Maintain user productivity by developing CAD design tools such as symbol libraries, Graphical User Interfaces (GUI), and plot drivers and templates etc.

Develop and maintain CADD standards and review project deliverables for adherence.  Communicate with Project Managers and Architectural and Engineering (AE) firms to receive deliverables and work to resolve any issues regarding CAD standards.
