The Student Health Center provides medical care through a high-quality outpatient facility staffed by licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health professionals. Services include:
- General Medical Clinic
- Sports Medicine
- Women's Clinic
- Urgent Care
- Allergy & Immunization
- Physical Therapy
- Counseling & Psychological Services
- Student Wellness Office
- Laboratory
- Radiology
Office visits to the medical clinic are free to all full-time students and on a fee-for-service basis to part-time students and student spouses. Other services, such as urgent care, laboratory tests, x-rays, physical therapy, and ongoing mental health visits are available on a fee-for-service basis.
You and your student should have received a Medical History Form at your home in late May, which documents proof of state-required immunizations. This form must be returned to the Medical Records Department on or before the first day of classes. If you do not have a copy of this form, it can be downloaded from a link on the Student Health Center web site listed above, and faxed or mailed to the address listed on the form.
The University strongly recommends that each student be covered by health insurance; parents are encouraged to contact their insurance providers before their student arrives on campus. Please note that PUSH is considered "out of network," and it would be cost effective to determine if coverage is available prior to charges being incurred. International students are required to have health insurance.
