Boiler Gold Rush

Boiler Gold Rush (BGR) is a new student orientation program that will take place from Aug. 18-22 and is open to all new first-year and transfer students. BGR is a unique experience due to the small group size and peer mentor contact, which enables new students to become better acquainted with Purdue and meet hundreds of new students before classes begin. BGR has one of the largest university volunteer staffs in the country with more than 500 student leaders who work year-round to prepare for the new class of Boilermakers. Students will learn their way around campus, gain information about resources, meet new people, attend programs to promote success inside and outside the classroom at Purdue, network with Purdue staff and faculty, and have fun!
