Seminar for Top Engineering Prospects (STEP)

The Seminar for Top Engineering Prospects (STEP) program is a week-long residential opportunity for rising high school seniors to explore engineering as a multifaceted and collaborative discipline through interactive engineering discipline and industry tours, classroom experience, and team-based design competition. During the STEP program, students learn fundamental engineering and design skills, including teamwork, leadership, physical sciences, computer programming, robotics, 3-D modeling and printing. Discover all that it means to be an engineering student, in and outside the classroom, at Purdue University. During their week on campus STEP students are housed in a select university residence hall, eat in award-winning dining courts and enjoy their choice of Purdue traditions.
