Seminar for Top Engineering Prospects (STEP)
This program welcomes students entering their senior year of high school. This seminar provides a dynamic opportunity to explore the many disciplines within engineering and the “jobs of a lifetime” for which engineering can prepare you. For a week, you will be on a team creating solutions to a multifaceted design challenge that will allow you to explore and discover the full potential of your imagination and creativity. You will attend demonstrations, partake in plant and school tours, and participate in classes, all of which will give you the feel of being an engineer and being a student in the Engineering program at Purdue. With this experience you will be able to get a glimpse into what college life is all about.
